Carpe Diem (& Nocem...)

I was recently reminded of the importance of the moment. Twice.

One moment, or part of it was captured on this picture, but it does no justice whatsoever to the feeling, the tension, the night. The moment like this happens and goes away, just like this. Usually it does not come back, or the replicas are not the same as the original. Well, they never really are the same... That particular moment was full of magic and, so to speak, potential to evolve. For better or for worse, the moment was not seized and it's gone, probably forever. What it might have been, we will never know.

The second part is darker - someone is dying. Someone I never really met, but who touched me and my life, even if virtually. She is giving her last lesson now - live the life before it's too late. Live it fully, but with goodness of the heart, with grace and in peace. Sounds easy, huh? Be nice to others and to yourself, don't put things away for later, as there may not be any "later". Sounds easy...

Oh, and don't forget to live those special moments, they never really come back.
