Pink fluff

In pink fluff department almond blossom is fine, magnolias are beautiful and roses somewhat cheesy (depending on the shade of pink though).

Now, the madness known as Valentine's Day is totally and absolutely stupid. By saying that I don't mean I don't like caring and nice things people do for each other, it mean I don't believe that anything can be forgiven or forgotten just because of a teddy bear with a red velvet heart, crowded restaurant and / or theatre. And, if these don't make up for anything, much less a stupid "phrase for the day" or a forced kiss will.

The alternative idea is much better, especially for steak lovers. But then again, it's better to care for the lady for more than a day, or the Romeo might end up eating takeaway and watching TV...

Relationships, gardening, sports, sciences, arts and many, many other things need continued effort, watering, training, development, study, and not "one day stands", so to speak.
